Future meetings are scheduled for January 12th, March 9th, and May 11th. All meetings will be held in the High School Media Center and begin at 7:00pm.
These forums are open to parents, students, community members and staff as an effort to engage all stakeholders in an open and honest conversation about topics affecting Richmond Community Schools.
Working together we will move Richmond Community Schools to new levels of student achievement as we commit to our promise of "Guaranteeing Learning for All Students."
The goal of the Wellness Committee is to enable students to establish good health and nutrition habits through (1) nutrition education, (2) physical activity, and (3) nutrition promotion.
Although the committee is a requirement of State and Federal mandates, Richmond Community Schools is excited to launch the Wellness Committee for the 2014-15 school year. The Wellness Committee is scheduled to have its first meeting on Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 3:00-4:00 pm.

Shining Stars of the Month
There are many students in Richmond Middle School who make our school a positive place to work and study during the course of the school year. With this in mind, the Richmond Middle School Staff would like to recognize two students from the 7th grade and 8th grade and students from the 5th and 6th grade classrooms for "Shining Stars of the Month". These students are honored for their ability to get along with classmates and teachers, their willingness to accept responsibility, and for being a positive influence for others.
The Shining Stars of the Month for September are:
Sarah Milolasik, Jenna Robertson, Emma Millbrand and Mia Morgan
Katie Alexander and Nick Fistler
Madison Resk and Griffin Janssen
Isabella Ferranti, Russell Crandall and Eduardo Sanchez
